Sustainability
It is the mission of our supplier, Omega, to minimise the ecological and environmental impact of their business activities, and it's one of the reasons Lacuna Design are pleased to be associated with them.
Omega are Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified, which means their timber and wood products are sourced from well-managed, responsible forests whereby any trees that are harvested are replanted.
Omega's fleet of vehicles are one of the most fuel efficient in the UK. By utilising the latest fuel technology, they convert the otherwise dangerous emissions into harmless ones, therefore keeping the air cleaner.
Omega's factories also recycle as much as possible. What cannot be recycled gets sent to incineration to generate energy, therefore none of the waste Omega produce goes into landfill. Plastic containers, wood, polystyrene, cardboard and paper all get returned to be reused – even the office toner cartridges are returned and not thrown away.
These are just some of the ways we at Lacuna Design and our partners are doing our bit but we won’t stop here. We will continue to bring you your dream kitchen whilst implementing sustainable practices across our business.
